    Abstract:

This chapter presents two knowledge-based expert systems that have been developed to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in monitoring and control of the CO2 capture process system at the International Test Center for CO2 Capture (SK, Canada). The two systems are called the CO2 capture monitoring and diagnostic system, and the knowledge-based system for CO2 capture.
